These are great for new and old players, as it concisely shows what your character is able to do. Plus plenty of room for notes and updates as you’re playing.
Great work, definite download. Thx

I really like this character sheet, I was just wondering if there was any way that it could be coded for characters above level 20.

RAW (Rules As Written) do not allow progression beyond level 20. The Dungeon Master’s Guide says on page 38, regarding characters that have reached level 20: “Characters gain no more levels at this point, but they can still advance in meaningful ways and continue performing epic deeds that resound throughout the multiverse. Chapter 7 details epic boons you can use as rewards for these characters to maintain a sense of progress.”
Having said that, you could allow higher level progression in your games. There is no reason you couldn’t clear this character sheet and print out a blank sheet to fill out with a pencil. You could make your character any level you wanted.
But, I assume you are wanting to use this on your devise and have it fill out all of the calculated information for you as you advance beyond level 20. It would be a lot of work to properly revise this to do that. Will proficiency bonus increase? At what rate? What additional features (if any) will the characters get at higher levels? Otherwise, why bother advancing to higher levels? For each class, there are specific features that you may want to improve when they reach higher levels. The Bard for instance may want to get additional uses of bardic inspiration and/or use a larger inspiration die. The same is true their song of rest. And what about spell slots?
I assume you have house rules that answer all of these questions at your table, but it will vary form one table to the next.
Here is a post I made with my house rules for play beyond level 20 (it does not include a form-fillable character sheet):

I have a multiclass sorc/warlock, and when I choose “no armor” it auto-calculates properly on page 2, but does not display on page 1. Further, if I add a number to the “misc” box, page 1 only shows that number. Is this broken? Is there a fix to this?

Thank you very much Chris.
I fixed it, thanks to you. If you download the PDF file now you should get the version with “_v2” added to the file name.
Please let me know if you run into any other problems.

Hello – I just went to used the multi-class character sheet v2 but the proficiency bonuses for either the character level or class proficiency to stats was not loading throughout the rest of the sheet. I hope you can have a look at this. Cheers.

Hi Stan,
I’m sorry you are having problems with this sheet. I just looked at it and I can’t find the problem. Could you tell me exactly where you are seeing this problem? If you could tell me what classes and their levels you are using and which fields on which pages you are seeing this problem, that would help me pin it down.
Have you looked at the newer Character Sheet and Folio? You may prefer it.

Hi Ronny – In my case, it is on the very first sheet. You can not put in an amount for the level of the character and the sheet does not take the corresponding level(s) from entering your various Hit Dice amounts. Since their is no character level, the character proficiency bonus is not generated. In addition on the first sheet, when entering a ability value, ie. Strength, the stat. bonus is generated, however if indicate that the character has proficiency in strength by checking the box, the sheet does not change the bonus value accordingly. Lastly, the weapon proficiency bonus is not being generated when indicating that the character has proficiency with the weapon and the value can not be manual entered into the sheet. Thank you for your attention, Stan.

Stan – I have addressed each of your problems below, but they all appear to be caused you your not understanding that you must enter the character’s level on page 4.
“You can not put in an amount for the level of the character”
>As intended – you must select the level for the class you want on page 4
“the sheet does not take the corresponding level(s) from entering your various Hit Dice amounts.”
>As intended – It doesn’t calculate your character’s level from the number of hit dice. You can’t enter the total number of hit dice on page 1. That will be calculated for you and entered here once you have indicated your character’s class and level on page 4. The field under “Available” (to the right of”Total” under “HIT DICE”) is for you to enter the number you have left after you use some on a short rest. That field lets you enter anything BUT DOESN’T USE IT IN ANY CALCULATIONS.
“Since their is no character level, the character proficiency bonus is not generated.”
>As intended.
“In addition on the first sheet, when entering a ability value, ie. Strength, the stat. bonus is generated, however if indicate that the character has proficiency in strength by checking the box, the sheet does not change the bonus value accordingly.”
>There is no box to check for having proficiency in strength. This is not a thing in 5e. There is a box to check if you have proficiency in Strength Saving throws and they are working. Of course, if you haven’t yet entered any levels for any class on page 4, your character doesn’t have any levels, so you don’t have any proficiency bonus, so none is added.
“Lastly, the weapon proficiency bonus is not being generated when indicating that the character has proficiency with the weapon and the value can not be manual entered into the sheet.”
>Again, first go to page 4 and enter the levels your character has for each of his different classes. Even if he is a first level character, you will need to enter the number “1” in the “Level” column next to his class. Then when you enter a weapon name and click the Proficiency box for that weapon it enters your proficiency bonus in the box and adds it to the attack bonus.
I recommend you read the post again and find where you can download the “Box by Box Instructions” for filling out this character sheet. In the instructions for Page 1 – in the section for the “Level” box it says in part: “you will enter this information on page 4.”
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Ronny – Thank-you for taking the time to respond. Naturally, I did not review the instructions on how to fill out the sheet because as we all know that’s the last thing you do. Self depreciating humour intended. Your sheets are a great asset to the community at large and I have enjoyed the utility of them over the recent years. I hope you keep up the great work and again Thank-you for your clear and detailed response.
Sincerely, Stan.

hi, is there a reason the rogue sheet has arcane trickster? Arcane trickster isn’t the subclass I’m going with so I’m hoping for a rogue sheet without the arcane trickster being instantly a part of it.

Tank you for your question. The individual class sheets on this multiclass character sheet is primarily for tracking magic spells and such, and the Arcane Trickster is the only Rogue subclass that cast spells. You can ignore that page if it doesn’t apply to your character.
Here is a PDF I posted that contains one sheet for each of the different Rogue Subclass features you might find useful:
