Thanks Ronny, and keep the emails coming! I like the information in them.
I have Hoard of the Dragon Queen and The Rise of Tiamat but haven’t read through them yet. I just finished reading through the PHB. I’m currently reading through Lost Mine of Phandelver so I can DM it with my wife and daughters. I assume that reading through a story/campaign beforehand is a good idea if you going to be a DM. I recently just bought the Out of the Abyss story; I really like the Drow storyline; especially Drizzt.
Talk to you later.

I haven’t read the Dragon Queen or The Rise of Tiamat because I am a player. The DM gripes a lot about it though. But yes, I can’t stress enough how much easier it is to DM an adventure if you have read through it a couple of times, at least. Drizzit is cool. I have only read one of the books and I can’t remember which one.

I’m taking my group through Tyranny of Dragons and have just embraced it’s faults and a chance for me to add my own bits into the game…like your Alabaster Portal idea. Have fun with the dragons.

Thanks for all of your contributions Ronnie. I would like to get in more play time as you did, but life always seems to have plans! Happy New Year to you as well!

Thanks Drew. Reality does sometimes get in the way of fantasy. Here’s hoping you can find more time this year for your leisure time pursuits.
