Pathfinder – Animal Companion / Familiar Character Sheets

animal-sheet-fillable-AnaRchX

Thanks to AnaRchX, here is a fillable version of my Animal Companion / Familiar Sheet modified for Pathfinder. He also made a couple of other minor improvements.

The original version (here) has been my most popular post. e is a link to my fillable version (here).

Here is a link to his post on the Pathfinder forum:

http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2r18a?PetFamiliarCompanionAnimal-Fillable-PDF-Sheet#1

Many thanks to George for doing this:

UPDATE: George has made several major improvements to this.

Added BAB fill able field. (Basic Attack Bonus)

Added CMB and CMD bonuses. (Combat Maneuver Bonus – Combat Maneuver Defence)

  • CMB = BAB + STRmod + SizeMod + MiscMod + MiscMod
  • CMD = BAB + STRmod + SizeMod + DexMod + MiscMod + 10

Cleaned up every fill able field. (Previously overlapping fields or fields not covering the entire box area)

Added javascript code to prevent showing numbers if the required fields are blank.

Changed the order of calculations on the form to include CMB and CMD.

Added a non  print-able button that clears everything on the form.

UPDATE 2:

George has made some minor fixes on how the CMB and CMD are displayed and are calculated. Download the updated file here: animal-sheet-fillable-AnaRchX

He has also added a version with NO grey text indicating the Ability Modifiers. Just blank boxes. (It was a suggestion from a Pathfinder user on the forum.) Download it here: animal-sheet-fillable-AnaRchX-Blank

UPDATE 3:

In response to a comment regarding his fillable animal sheet,  George  responded “I updated the companion sheet once again regarding the issue with the text still showing after the boxes were filled mentioned in the comments.”

Download it here: animal-sheet-fillable-anarchx.pdf

Thank you George.

Can you please tell me what exactly you have put in any other fields so that i can confirm it and eventually fix it? Thanks.

Why are the back letters for CMD and CMB still visible after a value has been entered?

Got a question about the skills block for the sheet. Why is there no place for putting ranks into the skills? As far as I understand it, Animal Companions get skill ranks, and get the typical +3 when putting the first rank in the animal companion’s class skills, same as a PC would. But you only have misc modifiers and your sheet doesn’t seem to take the +3 into account. Or am I totally wrong?

What RPG are you playing? This is a Pathfinder sheet that I got from AnaRchX in May 2014. I don’t play Pathfinder, so perhaps you could follow the links in my original post and ask him, or someone else can answer your question.
If you are playing D&D 5e, I have an animal companion sheet for that here:

I could be doing something wrong when I calculate the ranks. I need to take a closer look when I am get back from work. As Ronnie said, this is from 2014. Once I check this out I will reply back. Please be patient. Thank you for taking the time to check it out!

You are correct about not calculating the extra ranks, but that was done intentionally.
Because this was meant as a universal companion sheet (Animal / Familiar etc.), every time you create a companion you need to specify which of those skills are class skills in order to get the bonus (as per the rules of Skills). Because there is no such space on the sheet I didn’t want to add even more things in an already cramped sheet.
That is where the Misc Modifier column comes in handy.
By making a pet you already have access to the class skills so you can adjust those values accordingly in that space because they will be added to the total altogether.
      Thank you for your patience!
If you still need the modified version send me an email.

Why is there no companion sheet that has Ref, Fort etc written below the box rather than being in the box hiding behind your score.. if I ask for a Fort save it becomes a matter of “Which one is which? I cant read whats written behind the number” it seems the legendary companion sheet that I can only find screenshots of doesnt truely exist as a fillable pdf… guess I’m better off just making my own companion sheet…

      I agree.
If you read the post, you would see that I didn’t create these Pathfinder sheets. Someone sent me a copy and I was just sharing them here. I don’t play Pathfinder.
I suggest you contact AnaRchX and ask him to add the text “FORT”. “REF”, “WILL”, “AC”, “Flat-Footed”, and “Touch” directly under the appropriate boxes. I would also ask him to do the same thing to all of the other boxes where he has the name inside the box. You may be able to contact him by commenting on his original Paizo forum post here:
      https://paizo.com/threads/rzs2r18a?PetFamiliarCompanionAnimal-Fillable-PDF-Sheet#1http://
Or, if you are using a pdf reader that allows you to add text you could add those to your sheet, or if you are printing them you could write it on the paper sheet.
