A place to share thoughts and ideas about Dungeons and Dragons
Download your free copy here.
This is for John Edmond and anyone else that prefers a vertical DM Screen.
You can still get my horizontal version here.
Looks great. Heads up the he “1 Per round” was cut off in the action section, if you’re a format stickler. I printed and use your screen. I love it.
I’ll correct that and re-post in the next day or two.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! This is fantastic and I really appreciate it. By far the best 5th ed. DM screen out there.
I am glad you like it. Tell all your friends.
Under Food, Drink & Lodging there is an entry for a picture of wine. Did you mean pitcher or is there a drink variant that I’m missing out on?
🙂 Spell checker failed me again.
I just fixed it. If you download it now you should get the revised version.
Thank you so much. I never claimed to be able to spell.
Some things are cut off in the combat section – Hide, Ready, and Two Weapon
Thank you, Jennifer.
I also found a couple of other slip-ups. If you download it now you should get the new, rev4, version.
Hey man! Been looking for one of these for a long time for my Masterscreen! 🙂 Is there anyway you could share the Word file (I assume) so that I could adjust it for my campaign world? Like the coin rates for example, etc… Cheers! Thanks again 🙂
I am sorry, it is not a Word file. It is a Microsoft Publisher file and it is too large for me to upload it into WordPress. If you could use the Publisher file, send an email to “email@example.com” and I will email it to you. Be sure to tell me who you are and what you want.
Thanks for your kind comment.

I’m VERY new to D&D, so this is a very newb question…sorry! On your area for tracking, it says “DC”. That’s my first time to see that acronym. What does it mean?
Nobody starts off knowing any of this stuff.
DC stands for “Difficulty Class”. This is the target number the character must match or exceed to successfully complete the task.
For example, The DC for Tracking over Dirt or Grass is 15. The Dungeon Master (DM) will ask the Player Character (PC) to make a Wisdom (Survival) check. The player will then roll a d20. To what he rolls on the die he will add his Wisdom bonus. If he is proficient in Survival he will also add his Proficiency Bonus. This total must be equal or greater than the DC (15 in this case) to find/follow the tracks.
For each day since the creature passed, add 5 to the DC. So if the creature passed by here two days ago the DC would be 25 (15+5+5).
Does that help?
I love this, I was wondering if I could make a request/suggestion. It would be nice to have the full list of healing potions, greater etc. I always forget the healing values.
I can tell not much thought went into converting to portrait because a lot of words are cut off even after someone corrected you four years ago and you claim to have fixed it.
I hadn’t realized how badly I had messed this up. I fixed it properly this time (I think). If you go to the link and download the new version there should not be any words cut off. If I missed anything, please let me know.
